Meeting between Haitian President Jovenel Moise and members of the informal business sector

Haiti President Jovenel Moise met with some businessmen and women from the informal business sector on July 10 2018 to follow up on the fires that broke out in the public markets recently.

The informal business sector in Haiti is is pretty big. In it you will fine Haitians who are self employed (ti machan) and the employees who work for them.

"I met some members of the informal sector who saw their goods go up in smoke during the fires that broke out in the public markets," President Jovenel wrote on Twitter. "Very affected by this situation, the government will learn all the lessons. My team will assume its responsibility."
