Visit to Haiti: Taiwan President Tsai Ing-Wen and Haitian president Jovenel Moise

During her visit to Haiti, Saturday, July 13, 2019, Taiwan President Tsai Ing-Wen praised the 63 years of friendship existing between the two countries, Haiti and Taiwan.

She took the opportunity to highlight the efforts made by the Taiwanese Foreign Ministry to bring Taiwanese entrepreneurs to Haiti to showcase their best products.

President Tsai Ing-Wen expressed her satisfaction with the arrival of two large Taiwanese companies in Haiti to invest in the textile sector, creating a significant number of jobs, which is a gesture of strengthening trade relations between the two countries.
