Les gens ont parlé et votre président a écouté, a déclaré le président Jovenel Moise.
Il a également confirmé avoir demandé au Premier ministre de ramener les prix du gaz aux prix antérieurs.
Le président Jovenel Moise a également dit que, avec tous les travaux publics qu'il fait dans le pays, construire des routes, l'agriculture, gérer les rivières et construire l'infrastructure électrique, il aura besoin d'argent et il n'aura que deux façons d'obtenir cet argent: Ici, en Haïti, sous la forme de taxes ou de nos amis de la communauté internationale.
Le président Jovenel a déclaré que le fait de subventionner la production d'électricité en Haïti coûte au gouvernement des centaines de millions de dollars et qu'il a dû prendre la dure décision de supprimer les subventions au gaz en augmentant les prix du gaz.

Access to Electricity in Haiti -- Frantzy Monfilston, a primary-school teacher in Chansolme (Port-de-Paix) Nord-Ouest Haiti, says that his home had no electricity for years, so his children were forced to finish their homework before sunset. But all that changed after Monfilston became a beneficiary of "Kay Pam Klere" (electricity in my home) in May 2017
Now Frantzy Monfilston can help his children finish their homework at night because there's electricity in the house.
What is Kay Pam Klere?
'Kay Pam Klere' or Electricity in My Home, is President Jovenel Moise's government initiative introduced in May 2017 to help bring electricity to an estimated 10,000 families in Haiti.

"I can safely say that the electrification program will result in remote-area dwellers feeling less left out," says Monfilston, whose family is one of 850 living in Chansolme who have benefited from the initiative.

Did you know? Our Haitian president, Jovenel Moise, was also the Chairman (head) of The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) beginning January 01, 2018 for a period of 6 months.
The six-month term of President Jovenel Moise as the head of CARICOM came to an end on Saturday, June 30, 2018.

Route Kafou Jof Haiti : Nord-Ouest residents say THANK YOU President Jovenel Moise (video)
When he was still a candidate campaigning in Nord-Ouest Haiti, Jovenel Moise promised to rebuild the road (route Kafou Jof), from Kafou Jof to through Port-de-Paix, to Anse-a-Foleur, a promise he kept and the residents are very grateful.
Watch the video... Nord-Ouest residents say THANK YOU President Jovenel Moise for the road. Though it is still work in progress and not yet complete, it is the best thing they could ever ask for.
